History today. Tim at the Sydney Opera House for the launch of Transcendence the book celebrating 50 years since its opening. Find Tim’s name on the opening pages amongst all the glittering stars. The 50 chosen people have beautifully and eloquently written their most memorable moment at the house Then on page 186 Tim provided an artwork. Not words but a drawing, showing his happiness of walking on to the stage of the concert hall for @TedX Sydney. We couldn’t be prouder or more honoured that Tim is included in this book.
This is not just for Tim but for all who communicate differently, often without any verbal speech. .
Today with Tim’s inclusion in this book the Sydney Opera House is saying this house is for everyone. Everyone is welcome.
It is 17 years since Tim first showed his art there. . There was also TEDx, world autism awareness day and of course Dead Puppets theatre production of Laser Beak Man. It is Tim’s favourite place.
It was also a fun, joyous and uplifting day of celebration as Tim joined other book contributors at the launch in the Utzon room of the Sydney Opera House.
